From the inception of her career, Chantalle practiced law with a view to resolution of claims. Early on, it was apparent to her that mediation and early discussion of issues, significantly reduced that cost and emotion toll of litigation.
Chantalle has practiced law in a number of areas including but not limited to medical malpractice, medical negligence, regulatory defence, insurance defence, personal injury, occupiers’ liability, property, subrogation, products liability, general insurance, health law, etc., within the litigation sphere.
Chantalle has represented insurers, regulators, professional associations, professionals and other individuals in civil actions and in human rights proceedings. Chantalle has appeared before various levels of court, tribunals, professional colleges, and has appeared before the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board (HPARB).
